Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors will be at the future development site for the Honda of Rockwall project to allow residents an opportunity to transplant trees which would otherwise be lost when development occurs. The development site is located at 1550 East I-30, and the best access for residents will be to stay on the east bound service road from the Hwy 205 and I-30 intersection with the site being 1 block west of the I-30, John E. King Blvd. intersection. Trees are available for residents to take for transplanting free of charge, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday October 20th.
The contractor will have personnel on duty to help residents identify available trees. Some trees are not available and will be incorporated into the new development. While the trees are free to residents, interested residents should come prepared with any tools and equipment that may be needed to dig and transport them. Another option is for the residents to hire a professional to transplant the trees or take advantage of the opportunity to contract for transplanting services that the contractor has arranged to be onsite on October 20th. All costs associated with transplanting trees will be the responsibility of the resident.
